Love
Love may best be described as a magnetic force that draws two or more beings together (as in familial affection, true friendship, or even parenting a pet). To be "in love" is to be romantically involved, to pursue friendship while fanning the flames of passion. When people are in love the brain spontaneously reacts, dumping floods of "uppers" (phenylethylamine, dopamine and norepinephrine) into the brain, producing feelings of elation. Endorphins, the feel good messengers send signals of attraction and connection when the other person is present. These are the physical sparks that lead to a melting of two people into one. All differences dissolve, replaced with a much stronger desire to be together. The most sought after love is unconditional: the feeling of total acceptance, no matter what choices are made, no matter what life may bring. Without confining attachment, unconditional love is a warm thread of connection that always remains. For some, love is the creator, an intelligent force that seeks oneness. It is the white light of the cosmos, pure bliss.
