Animal hide, stretched, softened and dyed, commonly used to construct clothing or furniture. Leather frequently conjures a primitive response. It’s sexy, especially when fitted tight to the body, like a second skin. The love of leather has produced entire sub-cultures of wearers. Black leather has been adopted by the gothic chic, haute couture designers, and motorcycle enthusiasts the world-over.
