Bisexual
Bisexual people are attracted to both genders. To the ancient Greeks, the desire to touch an individual came from their beauty, rather than their gender. Bisexual people have a fluid sense of gender identity, and can relate to same sex and opposite sex partners, sometimes with equal ease. Many of these people are comfortable expressing both male and female roles with their sex partners, and would find a relationship where they are always required to “act like a man” or “act like a woman” simply too limiting.

| In many societies children explore sexuality by mirroring behavior with their own gender. (Do bi people just carry this innocence forward into life?) This same-sex experience can help to create a stronger sense of self before moving into relationship with the “other” or opposite sex. Bisexual lovers, without the limitation of gender-roles, can be more thorough in their exploration of yin (female) and yang (male) energies. I have found bisexual lovers to be some of the most flexible and creative partners on Earth. Count yourself blessed if you are with one. |
